家有兩牛二虎

在台灣，牛少爺目前只是5年級的學生，因為英格蘭的教育制度不同，現在的他已經是6年級，並且將於7月中從小學畢業，開始他的中學生活。



在英格蘭求學的4年期間，少爺們非常的輕鬆快樂，沒有台灣繁忙的功課，少了安親課輔，唯一有的只是極盡所能的玩耍，度過愉快的童年生活。



從3月份起，學校老師們開始戰戰兢兢準備迎接5月12日為期5天的一年一度全國性SATs考試，從那時起牛少爺最愛的體育課也暫時停課，取而代之的是密集的考試(在虎大娘看來明明就是臨時抱佛腳)，卻讓牛少爺非常的吃不消，每天放學總是噘著一張嘴抱怨，還好班級老師也要他們輕鬆應考，因為這個考試只是要看看他們的學習情況，並且提供學校以後的教學參考值，既然如此，虎大娘也就沒有必要特別逼迫牛少爺讀書了 (明明就是大娘自己懶惰)。



關於SATs:



Statutory Assessment Tests - aim to track your child's progress in broad Key Stages.

Your child will take national tests at the end of Key Stages 2, 11 year olds, Year 6, on set days in May each year: (usually the 2nd and 3rd weeks of May). The tests are intended to show if your child is working at, above or below the target level for their age.

This helps the school to make plans for their future learning. It also allows schools to see whether they are teaching effectively by comparing their pupils' performance to national results.

12 May 自然科學A 45分鐘 / 自然科學B 45分鐘

13 May 簡短寫作測驗 20分鐘 + 拼字測驗 10分鐘 / 作文寫作測驗 45分鐘

14 May 閱讀測驗 45分鐘 (另有15分鐘閱讀時間)

15 May 心算 20分鐘 / 數學應用A 45分鐘

16 May 數學應用B 45分鐘
